More Math functionality.

Hey - for now we have basic math functionality(Vector2-4,Matrix4,Quaternion) but maybe it's possible to add more?

 

My proposition:

  • Ray
  • Plane
  • Frustum
  • BoundingBox
  • BoundingSphere

All of those are already part of the SDK. They're just not in a very obvious place (within GameEngine2D mostly). I believe the SDK does need some restructuring as these elements should be within the Core namespace.

 

Search the SDK/API documentation that comes with the PS Suite for more information (link in your start menu).

Yeah, you are right. My bad and I agree that SDK need some refactoring to put classes in better places.

Agreed, the SDK feels a bit disjointed in some places... like it needs to find a precise identity. Perhaps it's following the eclectic nature of the current language, C#, borrowing ideas and techniques left, right, and center while still having to make a nice refactoring pass to place them all in the right places.

 

This must happen soon though, before the program goes out of beta. You do not do what would be a massive API change after you release the 1.0 version and I do not think they should release the SDK as is for its 1.0 version.
